The Brown House

So I finished my next book, The Brown House. This book is not related the The Past Lives Trilogy. This is a new series I started in January. It's funny how books just come to you and you MUST get them down on paper. Anyways on Friday the 13th I finished it. YAY Pre-edting was completed last night and I sent it to my awesome editor Melissa Ringsted, last night! So I hope it will be good to go soon.
I cant wait to share my cover for this book with you! It's going to be fantastical! Now that I am done with that book I am on to a short story for my publisher's to put in an Anthology this year. There will be no rest. But that is ok. I live off of busy busy busy!

The Brown House

My second book is finished. Phew! This one is very different from TMLOAS. It's more of a lets say, dark book. Although it is based on a haunted house my husband grew up in, there is a romance feel. I hope it will thrill you in some areas and make you swoon for Ephraim in others. Stay tuned for The Brown House in July 2012

A review of "A Hazy Shade of Winter" By Jessica Bradshaw

The writing was brilliant in this novel about a guardian angel and the young woman he is guarding, Jude. At first I didnt know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprisied to recieve chills from the first few pages. Bradshaw has many of the same views as I do about our world, Angels, Demons and the afterlife. So I fell for this book instantly. There was NOTHING that I would change about this book. The writing was perfection. I am very excited to read more in this series. I deeply fell in love with Jude! She is a girl to whom many teens can relate. Being an adult I can also relate to her through my teen years. Samuel is a tortured soul, that is for sure. I hope to see more of their romance in book 2.
Go out and get your copy today!!! I am serious!!

REVIEW OF 'EMBRACE' By Stacey Rourke

Stacey Rourke's debut novel 'The Conduit' is undoubtedly one of my favorite so far this year. So when she asked me to review the second book in The Gryphon Series, I of course jumped at the chance. To read a book before release, uh heck yes! So here is goes:
As if I hadn't already fallen in love with Celeste and her siblings in the first book, I am totally smitten now. They are just the funniest bunch of fictional character's I have ever read. Celeste with her witty one liners, Gabe and his ferocious hotness, and of course the ever lovely Kendall. I dove into this book headfirst and was pleasantly surprised with the impeccable writing of Stacey Rourke. She has pulled me into this world where these three exist and I don't want to leave.
In this version Celeste starts the whole dating scene. Oh my do I adore her suitor. The ever so handsome Irish gentleman, Caleb. I found myself drooling onto my Nook over Caleb. However, this book isn't all about sappy romance and hilariously funny banter, the action in this book is undeniable. Celeste is now being attacked by more evil forces who this time want to take over everyone she cares about.
I am officially loving this series! I love Rourke's writing, she is definitely a rare writing gem.

To hold a book in your hands

Now I wrote a book, and I saw it published on Kindle. What an amazing feeling I have to say. But there is just something about holding the paperback in your hands. It's so real to me now that I wrote a book. Before, it wasn't as if it wasn't real, but not so satisfying. This is a great feeling. Even if I don't make tons of money off of this project, which I don't think I will, the feeling of holding my book is like a dream come true. Avery Snow is my first book, and she is my baby right now. There will be other books, but I will not forget what it feels like to hold your own book.
