Happy Fall everyone. This is my absolute favorite time of year. Halloween. Bonfires. Pumpkins. And of course it's the big fall YA Scavenger Hunt. I am part of the Purple Team, once again, and so excited to be hosting again this year!
About me
- I have two daughters. One is fifteen and the other is ten.
- My favorite place to vacation is Maine.
- Sometimes I can be known to get lost inside a book store.
- I can only write when I have music blaring into my headphones. Otherwise I can't focus.

How to YASH
Welcome to YA Scavenger Hunt! This bi-annual event was first organized by author Colleen Houck as a way to give readers a chance to gain access to exclusive bonus material from their favorite authors...and a chance to win some awesome prizes! On this hunt, you not only get access to exclusive content from each author, you also get a clue for the hunt. Add up the clues, and you can enter for our prize--one lucky winner will receive one book from each author on the hunt in my team! But play fast: this contest (and all the exclusive bonus material) will only be online for 120 hours!
Go to the YA Scavenger Hunt page to find out all about the hunt. There are SIX contests going on simultaneously, and you can enter one or all! I am a part of the PURPLE TEAM--but there is also a red team, a gold team, a green team, a purple team, and a pink team for a chance to win a whole different set of books!
If you'd like to find out more about the hunt, see links to all the authors participating, and see the full list of prizes up for grabs, go to the YA Scavenger Hunt page.

TIDALSTORM
THE TIDES WILL TURN…AND MONSTERS WILL SURGE
Nerissa Marin has been issued a challenge to the death by exiled Aquarathi queen, Rian Thorn, for the throne of Waterfell. Rian’s people have been biding their time in the Atlantic Ocean, waiting for the moment to strike, regain their place, and destroy human civilization.
But danger lurks in unexpected places, and while an epic showdown brews below the surface between the two opposing queens, mutated hybrid mercenaries have been working for a greedy human arms corporation with one goal: Kill and harvest any living Aquarathi.
To save their species, two rival queens must unite…or fall together.

I would like to take this time to thank the hosts of the YA Scavenger hunts in the past. I am sad this will be the final year. I would have loved to have done this at least 7 more times. But I am thankful that I had these opportunities when I did.
